Water restored to 85% of affected areas in Seberang Perai
Upgrading works are expected to be completed by today - October 7, 2024

THE Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP) has restored supply to 85% of the affected areas in Seberang Perai following the 48-hour water cut over the weekend.

The disruption which affected some 118,000 consumers on the Prai mainland, due to major upgrading works, is expected to be resolved later today, said PBAPP chief executive officer Datuk K. Pathmanathan in a statement.

The areas where water supply is normalised, are: Permatang Pauh, Juru, Bukit Tengah, Jalan Pengkalan, Bukit Minyak, Valdor, Paboi, Batu Kawan, Taman Tanah Aman, Permatang Tinggi, Hijauan Hill, Jalan Besar Sungai Bakap, Taman Gamelan, Perkampungan Juru, Jawii, Taman Jawi Jaya, Jalan Nibong Tebal and Sungai Udang. - October 7, 2024
