THE people must be willing to highlight any weaknesses or shortcomings of ministers to bring this nation towards greater prosperity, said the prime minister.
According to reports in Utusan Malaysia, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said it would help improve their performance in all aspects, especially in development and the well-being of the people.
"If there are any weaknesses, the ministers can fix them.
"This will help us move in the right direction," he said at the Madani Deepavali open house in Sentul.
Almost 5,000 visitors, along with Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi; Digital Minister, Gobind Singh Deo and Communications Minister, Fahmi Fadzil attended the open house.
Anwar at the same time also hoped that the true meaning of the Deepavali festival should be appreciated by all people and not only by Hindus. - November 1, 2024
