Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed that the suspect, who has a criminal record, was killed in the shootout.
He said police also found two loaded guns on the suspect who has a criminal record for seven robberies and a drug-related offence.
The man was wanted for a shooting incident at the mall in Setia Alam on Feb 8, where he fired several shots at a cleaner before fleeing.
