SABAH has approved a RM1,000 special financial aid for all state civil servants in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Pesta Kaamatan celebrations.

The aid will be distributed in two phases, with RM500 disbursed ahead of Hari Raya Aidilfitri and another RM500 before the Kaamatan festival.

Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the decision was made during the Sabah Cabinet meeting today as a gesture of appreciation for the contributions of civil servants and to enhance their wellbeing.

“The State also records its appreciation to all civil servants and hopes this special assistance will serve as a boost or motivation to continue working harder and improving the quality of service to the people with greater excellence,”. - March 26, 2025
