A 19-YEAR-OLD woman was killed while another passenger and the e-hailing driver were injured when their car skidded and crashed into a metal road divider along Jalan Puchong Batu 14 late last night.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) assistant operations director Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar said a fire engine from the Puchong Fire and Rescue Station was dispatched to the scene after an emergency call was received at 10.15pm.

“The operations commander reported that the accident involved a Perodua Bezza believed to have been driven by an e-hailing driver who lost control and hit the road divider.

“There were three victims – a 49-year-old male driver and two passengers, a 21-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman,” he said in a statement today.

Ahmad Mukhlis added that both male victims sustained injuries, while the teenage passenger was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. - October 23, 2025
