PRIME MINISTER Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended his best wishes to all candidates sitting for the 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination, describing it as a defining moment that reflects their hard work, sacrifices and prayers throughout their preparation.
“Best of luck to all students beginning the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2025 examination today. This is the moment to translate all your efforts, sacrifices, sleepless nights and the many prayers that have never ceased,” he said in a post on his social media account.
Anwar advised candidates to remain composed, have confidence in themselves and continue to pray as they navigate the examination period.
“Stay calm, believe in yourself and keep praying. God willing, the prayers of your parents, teachers and all Malaysians accompany you on this journey,” he said.
He also expressed hope that every candidate’s efforts would be blessed and eased, leading to excellent results.
A total of 413,372 candidates are sitting for the 2025 SPM examinations at 3,350 centres nationwide. To ensure smooth operations, the Ministry of Education (KPM) has appointed 127,526 personnel to supervise the examination process.
Earlier, Anwar conveyed his gratitude and prayers for the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Ibrahim, who departed this morning for a six-day State Visit to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
In a statement on Facebook, the Prime Minister prayed for the King and his delegation to be blessed with safety, well-being and success throughout the official visit.
He also sought forgiveness for being unable to accompany His Majesty due to health constraints.
“I am confident that this State Visit will bring great benefits and positive outcomes for the people and the nation,” Anwar said.
Sultan Ibrahim departed from the Royal Malaysian Air Force Base in Subang at 9 a.m. to begin the State Visit, which will run from today until 6 November, before continuing on to Bahrain. - November 3, 2025
