MOE urges full investigation into incident at Negri Sembilan school

The Ministry of Education (MOE) has called for a thorough investigation into all aspects of the incident involving a pupil at a school in Negri Sembilan on Oct 1, to ensure justice is served.

In a statement, the ministry expressed its full attention to the statement issued by the family of the late Iman Zhafran Muhammad Hafizuddin Abdullah regarding the incident

"The case is currently under investigation by the police.

"Firm action must be taken against anyone found guilty. Justice must be upheld for the family of Iman Zhafran," the statement said.

An autopsy revealed that the cause of death was pressure on the neck, with no other injuries found on the victim's body. – November 4, 2025
