PKR has not issued any instructions to its members in Sabah on which party to support in the seat that will see a clash between Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates in the State Election (PRN).

PKR secretary-general Datuk Dr Fuziah Salleh said this was because the central leadership would decide which party to support in the area based on the candidate's chances of winning.

"The decision on which candidate to support will be made when the time comes.

"At the moment, there is no blanket instruction. We do it on a case-by-case basis, depending on which one has a better chance of winning," she said.

There is a clash between Pakatan Harapan (PH), GRS and BN candidates involving several seats in the Sabah general election on November 29.

Among the seats that saw GRS and PH candidates clash was the Moyog DUN seat in the Penampang Parliament while BN-PH for the Karamunting DUN in Sandakan.

In the Kemabong DUN, all three parties clashed with each other.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was previously reported to have described the clash of candidates as a friendly fight. - November 24, 2025
