CONCERNS of a resident of Taman Nusari Bayu 1, Sendayan in Seremban about accidents due to the location of his house which is located near a sharp bend came true today.
In the incident at 8.40am this morning, a Perodua Myvi car skidded and plunged 10 metres into the house of Amirul Zaki Abd. Rahim, 35, causing the fence to collapse.
The 33-year-old female driver, however, escaped with minor injuries, reported Kosmo!.
Amirul Zaki said he received information about the incident from his neighbour and upon arriving he found that the Myvi driver was not in the vehicle as she had been taken to hospital.
The man was thankful that at the time of the incident he and his wife were out working, while their four children aged three months to six years were not at home.
This was the third incident to occur near his home.
"Previously, there were cars that skidded and got stuck in trees, in addition to a fatal accident where a van skidded and fell in front of a house.
Concrete barriers were installed at the sharp bend but there were still cars that skidded," he said.
Meanwhile, the father of the Myvi driver, Abu Hanifah Lim Abdullah, 57, said that at the time of the incident, his daughter was on her way to work in Port Dickson and suffered a sprained ankle.
Seremban District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Azahar Abdul Rahim announced that investigations found that the victim's car was believed to have lost control before skidding and falling from a height of 10 metres from the main road.
The case is being investigated under Regulation 10 of the Road Traffic Regulations 1959. - November 25, 2025
