INSPECTOR Sheila has once again made the news.

This time the suspended Sheila Sharon Steven Kumar is shown confronting a woman, believed to be a restaurant manager.

The video, which has since gone viral shows her engaged in an argument with the woman, with onlookers trying to diffuse the situation.

In November this year, she was charged with voluntarily obstructing a policeman, Lance Corporal Malvinderjit Singh Teerath Singh, 37, from carrying out his patrol duty. The offence was allegedly committed in front of a restaurant in Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Dang Wangi, here between 8.15pm and 8.30pm on Nov 4.

Sheila, 37, who has been with the police force for nine years, pleaded not guilty to the charge, framed under Section 186 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum prison sentence of two years or a fine of up to RM10,000 or both, if convicted.

She was allowed bail of RM6,600 with one surety, and the court set Jan 20, 2026, for mention.

She has been suspended from duty since June 23, 2023, over previous allegations of insulting fellow officers and threatening a senior citizen
