DATUK Seri Anwar Ibrahim has denied claims that there was an order to prevent Johor Menteri Besar, Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, from entering FELDA areas.
The Prime Minister stressed that the Federal Government is only focusing on the implementation of projects under its jurisdiction on the land in question.
"There is no order (to stop Onn Hafiz)," he stressed after performing Friday prayers at the Jameatus Solehah Mosque in Pekan Dengkil, today.
He said this in response to the Johor Menteri Besar's claim that he was prevented from entering the FELDA area.
Onn Hafiz had previously revealed that he was prevented from entering the FELDA area for the handover of property grants to settlers in conjunction with the celebration of Johor State FELDA Settlers' Day 2026.
This caused the ceremony that was supposed to take place at FELDA Ulu Belitong, Kluang, on June 20 and 21 to be changed to the Dato' Onn Hall, Taman Sri Lambak, Kluang.
Meanwhile, commenting on the results of the Merdeka Centre study, Anwar said that he would not be 'smitten' with praise, but instead continue to strive to improve his performance in leading the government.
Yesterday, reports said the Merdeka Centre study placed Anwar as the political leader with the highest support rate.
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude but stressed that such recognition would not make him complacent. – June 26, 2026
