FIVE-cornered fights are expected in the Bukit Naning and Puteri Wangsa state seats.

Parti Bersama Rakyat (Bersama) candidate Iskandar Md Alias ​​was the earliest to arrive at 7.30 am, followed by Md Ysahrudin Kusni (PH) for the Bukit Naning nomination.

Also present were Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates Mohd Ghazali Sabari, Mohd Radzi Amin (PN) and another Independent candidate S Jeganathan.

Also accompanying the PH candidate was PKR Secretary-General, Datuk Dr Fuziah Salleh, who is also Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), and Political Secretary to the Prime Minister, Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi.

Former Education Minister, Dr Maszlee Malik, representing PH, arrived at the Puteri Wangsa DUN nomination centre at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK Dato' Onn) in Bandar Dato' Onn, Tebrau at 8 am.

He was accompanied by PH Secretary-General, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution and PKR Vice-President Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

About 300 voters accompanied the PH candidate, who was wearing a light blue baju Melayu and was accompanied by his wife.

Meanwhile, Rashifa Aljunied, the MUDA candidate, arrived at 8.20 am, while BN candidate, Teow Chia Ling arrived at 8.25 am.

Nicholas Paul Vincent from Bersama and Independent candidate, Wang Wee Siong arrived soon after.

However, the five-cornered contest will only be officially confirmed by the Election Commission (EC) after the nomination process closes at 10 am and the list of candidates eligible to contest is announced. – June 27, 2026
