TWO siblings died from stab wounds to the neck in the Desa ParkCity tragedy in Kepong that left four family members dead on Thursday.
Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said the autopsy results found that the victim's daughter died from a stab wound to the neck.
"The autopsy was conducted yesterday from 9 am to noon.
"As for the victim's wife, the autopsy conducted on the same day from about 2 pm to 7.30 pm found that she died due to injuries caused by sharp objects to the neck and chest," he said in a statement today.
According to him, the victim's son also died from a stab wound to the neck based on the autopsy results conducted yesterday.
"The autopsy began at 2 pm and ended at 5 pm. Meanwhile, the autopsy on the suspect, the father, will be conducted today after the examination at the scene is completed and is expected to begin at 2 pm,” he said.
Fadil said that the Kuala Lumpur Hospital Forensics team together with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) were also present at the scene this morning to conduct an examination.
He said that the allegations in the note related to a ‘love scam’, including the existence of a scammer and losses and debts totalling RM260,000, were still under investigation.
“The chronology of the incident and the allegations that the suspect acted alone to kill his wife and two children before committing suicide are also still under investigation,” he said.
Meanwhile, he said that the four bodies have not yet been claimed by the families.
“All bodies will only be claimed after the autopsy process on the suspect is completed, which is expected at 6 pm this evening. The family is aware of the love scam problem and is trapped in illegal investments,” he said.
It was earlier reported that the police received a distress call at 3.32 pm regarding a 48-year-old local man who was found dead in the residential building involved.
A 47-year-old woman, who is the man's wife and two children, a girl and a boy aged nine and seven, respectively, were also found in the condominium unit.
