FOUR foreign men were arrested after the Immigration Department raided an entertainment centre in Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur, which allegedly featured dance performances by foreign nationals targeting local and foreign patrons.
Immigration director-general Datuk Zakaria Shaaban said the raid began at 12.05am yesterday following information received from the public and a month-long intelligence operation.
He said those detained comprised three Chinese nationals and a Filipino, aged between 21 and 31.
“Initial checks found that all the detained foreigners did not possess any valid travel documents or passes to remain in the country.
“A total of four people were detained. All of them were aged between 21 and 30,” he said in a statement.
Zakaria said the entertainment centre, which had been operating since last year, was believed to offer entertainment and dance performances by foreign nationals involving the ‘same-sex’ community, targeting local and foreign customers in the Klang Valley.
He said customers were charged between RM53 and RM700, depending on the drinks ordered and table reservations.
“All the foreign nationals were detained for allegedly committing an offence under Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63 and were taken to the Putrajaya Immigration Office for further action.
“Three local men were issued notices to appear at the office to assist with investigations,” he said. -September 27, 2026
