MIRI – A 35-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man died in Sibu Hospital this morning due to Covid-19.

In a statement today, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee secretariat said the woman died at about 5am and the man at 10am

“With the two latest deaths, 26 people in Sarawak have died from the Covid-19.

“The state extends our condolences to the families.”

Meanwhile, Sarawak logged 193 new cases today.

Sibu continues to see a surge with 138 cases, followed by Miri (12), Bintulu (10), Kuching (9) and Dalat (9).

Sibu Hospital is currently treating 1,061 cases followed by Miri Hospital (235), Kuching Hospital (105), Bintulu Hospital (68) and Limbang Hospital (1). – The Vibes, January 23, 2021
