KUALA LUMPUR – Water supply to 686 areas in the districts of Petaling, Gombak, Klang/Shah Alam, Kuala Lumpur and Hulu Selangor will be disrupted starting 9pm to allow for repair works on a burst pipe.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd, in a statement, said the Sg Selangor Water Treatment Plant Phase 1 will need to suspend operations during this time, with the repairs expected to be completed at 8am tomorrow.

Supply is expected to be restored in stages by 2pm tomorrow, it said.

“Consumers are advised to keep sufficient water supply before the cut, and to use water prudently.” – The Vibes, October 17, 2020
