KUALA LUMPUR – Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is in good condition and does not have any undesired symptom after testing positive for Covid-19.

The Bagan Datuk MP took to Facebook today to assure everyone that he is well while undergoing quarantine.

“I understand many are asking about my condition after hearing the unexpected news. Thank God, I’m in good condition without any unwanted symptom. I don’t have a cold, cough, fever or any other symptom.”

He also said he is working online as usual, and that his commitment to the nation and its people will never falter.

Yesterday, it was reported that three MPs have tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of the Parliament sitting tomorrow.

Among them is Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Mansor Othman, who is also Nibong Tebal MP.

At first, Bachok MP Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz was reported positive, but later confirmed negative along with Federal Territories Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa and Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon.

Meanwhile, Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow has been instructed to undergo home quarantine after one of his aides tested positive for the virus. – The Vibes, July 25, 2021
