KUALA LUMPUR – A 17-year-old has been reported missing from her home at the Sri Suajaya condominium in Sentul since Monday.

Sentul police chief Beh Eng Lai said family members of the teenager, identified as Nur Hidayati Duwaijah Mazlan, lodged a police report the following day.

He said Nur Hidayati was last seen leaving her home in Kg Baru Dalam, Sentul, last Monday evening at around 7.20pm, and it is believed she was headed towards sundry shops.

“Her mother tried calling the teenager’s mobile phone but failed. The last time her daughter was seen, she was wearing a red-coloured top with black pants.

“Nur Hidayati is approximately 1.45m in height, of fair complexion, of medium build, with brown eyes,” Beh added.

Beh said information of the teenager’s disappearance has also been spread through the Nur Alert system.

“Kuala Lumpur police urge anyone from the public with information regarding the teenager’s disappearance to come forward and provide details,” he said.

“They can also contact investigating officer Inspector Noramalina Md Jamil at 017-318-5868 or the Sentul district police headquarters operations room at 03-4048-2222.”
