TAWAU – The police are asking for the public’s help in locating four men believed to be involved in a fight that resulted in the death of a 28-year-old man here on Tuesday morning.

Tawau district police chief Jasmin Hussin said the suspects are identified as Mohamad Johari Rahman @ Jojo whose last known address is at Tanjung Batu Laut, Muhamad Zulkifli Rahman @ Jul (Tanjung Batu Laut) and Mazlee Asan @ Yaszil (Jalan Damai) while another person who has yet to be identified.

He said that in the 4am fight the victim, who was stabbed in the left chest, lost consciousness and was later confirmed dead.

“As a result of the incident, the police arrested four local men, aged 22 to 35, in several locations. Four others are still at large,” he said in a statement here today.

Jasmin said anyone, especially those living in Tanjung Batu Laut and Jalan Damai, who have any information about the whereabouts of the four men involved are asked to contact ASP Zam Zarina Asri at 016-737-5868. – Bernama, September 15, 2022
