KOTA KINABALU – Warisan has announced the appointment of Petagas assemblyman Datuk Awang Ahmad Sah Awang Sahari as its treasurer-general and Sepanggar MP Datuk Mohd Azis Jamman as information chief.

Its secretary-general, Datuk Loretto Padua Jr, in a statement tonight, said prior to this Awang Ahmad was information chief while Azis was the party’s Wira (youth) chief.

“Azis decided not to contest in the party election in August to make way for a new face to lead Warisan Wira.

“This move was taken to rejuvenate the party and promote youth leadership,” the statement said.

Terrence Siambun, who was Warisan treasurer previously, won the vice-president post uncontested in the party polls. – Bernama, October 13, 2022
