KUALA LUMPUR – The LRT service for stations between Kelana Jaya and Ampang Park has been shut down for the night after a service disruption this evening, barely 24 hours after the interruption yesterday. Additionally, service for the entire Kelana Jaya LRT line will be shut down at 11pm tonight.

According to a statement by RapidKL at 9.34pm, the free bus service will be extended to 12am.

Meanwhile, the Ampang-Sri Petaling LRT service at the Masjid Jamek interchange station and the Kajang MRT service at the Pasar Seni station will be extended to 12.30am.

Since this afternoon, there have been reports of service disruption between the KLCC station and Kelana Jaya station.

At 4.49pm, RapidKL said that stations from Kelana Jaya to Ampang Park had been closed to commuters.

The firm added that the problem was due to a “technical disruption”.

It also said the Kelana Jaya line was still active between the Gombak and Damai stations, and the Ara Damansara and Putra Heights stations.
