KUALA LUMPUR – Amanah will field 31 candidates in the six states holding elections on August 12, with half of them being new faces.

Party president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu named them in a press conference streamed on Facebook.

He also noted that seven of them are youth, while another seven are women.

He said the party will field nine candidates each in Selangor and Kedah.

Seven will contest in Kelantan, while two will contest in Penang, Negri Sembilan and Terengganu each.

These are Amanah’s candidates:
