SHAH ALAM – Supporters of Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) were observed engaging in a war of words when the party led by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin provoked by singing the “penyamun” (bandit) song.

In retaliation, PH supporters echoed back with “malaun” (cursed) and “undur Mahathir” (step down Mahathir) in a jibe towards PN. Prior to this, both parties were involved in a shouting match, each chanting their slogans, heating up the atmosphere in front of the Dewan Kenangan at the Petaling District and Land Office here.

Meanwhile, the supporters of the Parti Socialis Malaysia (PSM) were seen caught in the middle of these two parties. Approximately 300 PN supporters gathered, chanting “rise again”, while PH and Barisan Nasional supporters numbered over 100 and dressed in red and blue, responded with “Perpaduan Ready” (Unity Ready) chants. – The Vibes, July 29, 2023
