KUALA LUMPUR – Indonesian coach Indra Wijaya joined the Indonesia Badminton Association (PBSI) today.

On their official Twitter account, PBSI welcomed Indra as their new head coach for the women’s singles category.

“PBSI is proud to announce that Indra Wijaya has officially joined Pelatnas PBSI as the head coach of the women’s singles sector as of March 1, 2023.

“Good job Indra!” read the post.

Meanwhile, Indra posted a brief comment on his social media saying, “Thank you, Malaysia!” yesterday.

Indra was previously the men’s singles coach at Badminton Academy of Malaysia (BAM) in 2015 before switching to coach the women’s singles in 2020.

In February 2022 he decided to leave the national setup to join Lee Zii Jia as a coach.

However, in November Indra was unceremoniously dropped from Zii Jia’s team. – The Vibes, March 1, 2023
