KUALA LUMPUR – The Kuala Lumpur Bike Show (KLBS ‘23) is looking to be more than a consumer exhibition show but to also showcase the lifestyle around the biking culture.

The four-day event, launched today, is organised by Moventuum Sdn Bhd and RodaRoda Magazine (Bayu D Enterprise Sdn Bhd), and will run from August 24 to 27 at World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur.

The event will not only focus on traditional motorcycles but also electric bikes and bicycles.

“We will have a lot of activities beyond just exhibiting motorcycles and bicycles.

“We will have a fashion presentation by Malaysia’s renowned menswear maestro, Bon Zainal and music performances by legendary rock group Wings.

“We will also have talks and presentations on biking and biking activities, and even on biking tourism.

“KLBS ’23 will epitomise the biking lifestyle and culture while instilling a positive vibe around the show.”

Earmarked as a future staple on the industry calendar, KLBS ’23 will be the inaugural edition of this annual event.

“Designed to attract an international audience, KLBS ’23 will become the region’s main event for two wheels.

“We have ambitions to grow this event further in the years to come,” said Moventuum managing director Farouk Nurish.

Also present at the launching was Tourism Malaysia’s director-general Datuk Ammar Abd Ghapar.

“I commend the organisers for their dedication and hard work in bringing this event to fruition.

“The KLBS is the first of its kind in our city, and I believe it has the potential to set new standards as an international gathering point for biking enthusiasts.

“By creating such unique and captivating events, we contribute to tourism’s growth, stimulate economic activity, and create a positive and lasting impact on the local community,” he said.

Early bird tickets for the event will be priced at RM18 for a day pass and RM45 for a four-day pass.

After July 1st, the tickets will be priced at RM28 for a day pass and RM68 for a four-day pass. – The Vibes, June 15, 2023
