KUALA LUMPUR – The results of applications for admission to public universities, polytechnics, community colleges and public skills training institutions (ILKA) at the certificate, foundation and diploma levels, as well as Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Architecture degree programme for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) school leavers will be announced tomorrow.

The Higher Education Ministry (MoHE) in a statement today said applicants could check the results online from noon through the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Universiti Malaysia Sabah and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu official sites.

It said applicants will be able to print the acceptance and offer letters from the portals of the public universities and ILKA from this Saturday until July 26.

“The public universities and ILKA will issue official offer letters to successful candidates from Saturday, for those who have confirmed their acceptance within 10 days as stated.”

Only unsuccessful applicants and those who have been offered a certificate programme could submit an appeal via UPUOnline for admission to public universities and polytechnics within 11 days from tomorrow until July 26.

Appeals for admission to community colleges and ILKA can be forwarded directly to the respective institutions.

The ministry said the decision on the places offered for the 2021/2022 academic session is final and any appeal for changes will not be entertained.

The selection policy for appeals from unsuccessful candidates will be based on programme vacancies after the registration of new students has completed. – Bernama, July 15, 2021
