POLICE have obtained a seven-day remand order for the sole suspect in a shooting at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Sunday.

The Kota Baru magistrate’s court issued the order for Hafizul Harawi this morning under section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

The remand ends April 22.

The 38-year-old suspect arrived at the court about 8.40am under heavy police escort.

Yesterday, Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain confirmed the man was nabbed yesterday in Kota Baru, Kelantan.

He is suspected of firing a pistol at his wife Farah Md Isa, better known as Farah Cie, during the 1.30am incident.

The shots missed Farah but hit her bodyguard Muhammad Nur Hadith, who remains in a coma at the Cyberjaya Hospital. – The Vibes, April 16, 2024
