AFTER a week of campaigning for the Ayer Kuning state seat, Tapah MP Datuk Seri M Saravanan said he is overwhelmed with the spirit and dedication shown by members from both Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan.
"We are definitely on the right path to a victory here in Ayer Kuning. It is a very peaceful town and there are no racial or religious issues.
"The people here enjoy a slow, cordial pace of life and have received us warmly," he said.
He said BN and PH had adopted a unified approach in campaigning and were taking time to listen and understand the problem faced by the people of Ayer Kuning.
"As you can see, campaigning has been smooth and peaceful with no issues at all.
"I am the MP for Tapah, while the ADUN for Chenderiang, which is the other state seat in the constituency is also from BN.
"So, voting in the BN candidate would be the best choice for the constituents as it would benefit them the most," he said.
He said all efforts to help the people can be streamlined, while development plans could also be better executed if all representatives were from the same party.
"The fact that I have been elected as Tapah MP for four terms clearly underscores their satisfaction with the progress I have brought to the constituency.
"Also, voters here are committed to maintaining strong unity and they all see beyond all racial and religious boundaries.
"This is also something I stress upon as unity and harmony among all races has been and must be the nation's foundation for decades to come," added the MIC deputy president. - April 19, 2025
