THE mysterious disappearance of a man who was reported missing since last week was finally solved when he returned to his family home in Bukit Beruntung, Hulu Selangor.

Hulu Selangor District Police Chief, Superintendent Ibrahim Husin said, Muhamad Sah Julasili, 21, had previously gone to his friend Hafiz's house at Mile 10, Jalan Gombak.

He said that while there, the man lived at Hafiz's house and worked at his friend's burger shop in the area.

"The man did not inform his family of his whereabouts because he claimed his mobile phone was broken. He also had the keys to the house and could return at any time," he said in a statement today.

He said that at 6pm on October 24, Muhamad Sah contacted his wife in Kunak, Sabah and was informed that his brother-in-law had filed a police report.

“After learning about the matter, the man immediately returned to his brother’s house in Bukit Beruntung,” he said.

The man then filed a report at the Bukit Sentosa Police Station that he had returned home and the case was considered closed. - October 28, 2025
