PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today said all allegations against former Economy Minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli should be investigated thoroughly and no one should be quick to pass judgment.
"Do not condemn anyone until a thorough investigation is done and the person is prosecuted.
"Allow the law to take its due course and do not spread accusations, especially during Ramadan," he said after attending Friday prayers at Masjid Kampung Seri Cheeding today.
Anwar said the problem was that people were too quick to condemn as soon as someone was accused.
Anwar added that he welcomed any allegations raised, including against the government, but stressed that all parties must adhere to the principles of justice and the legal process.
"That is why I welcome any allegations, whether from or against the government. If there are allegations, if there is evidence, we investigate them transparently. It is only in this country that things are done orderly.
"But this Ramadan, we should focus on matters of worship, forgiveness, and friendship. That is what we should do," he said.
The media previously reported that Rafizi denied being involved in a corruption case amounting to RM2.5 billion involving the awarding of a contract to a company related to him.
The Pandan MP said that the accusation was slander peddled by influencer Ariz Ramli, better known as Caprice.
He is believed to be referring to the National Energy Transition Plan (NETR) project involving an investment of RM2.5 billion by UEM Lestra. – February 20, 2026
