KUALA LUMPUR – Jaya Grocer at the KL East Mall is closed after an outsourced security guard tested positive for Covid-19.

In a statement today, the company said the infection was detected during a routine screening yesterday.

“Please note that the outsourced security guard has not been onsite since December 31 and does not share a hostel with our staff,” it said.

The outlet is closed starting today until further notice.

“All staff and outsourced personnel will undergo swab tests. Deep cleaning and sanitisation will be conducted during the store’s closure.” – The Vibes, January 3, 2021
