UMNO Negeri Sembilan has ordered all its Exco members to clean up their offices at Wisma Negeri and return official vehicles, including government assets, to the state secretary today.

Its chairman, Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias, said the decision was made following the action of all 14 Umno State Assemblymen (ADUNs) who unanimously announced their loss of confidence and withdrawal of support for the state government led by Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun.

“When I announced that I no longer have confidence in the Menteri Besar and withdrew support for the Unity Government, my position as an exco member automatically fell.

“Today, I have already ordered all Umno Exco members to hand over all facilities, including official vehicles, to the state government,” he said as reported by Sinar Harian.

Jalaluddin, who is the Pertang assemblyman, holds the portfolio of the Rural Development, Plantation and Commodity Action Committee and the Agriculture, Food Security and Cost of Living Action Committee, in addition to serving as a Senior Exco.

Others include Seri Menanti assemblyman, Datuk Ismail Lasim (Exco for Education and Human Capital) and Palong assemblyman Mustapha Nagoor (Exco for Youth and Sports Development).

Linggi assemblyman Datuk Mohd Faizal Ramli holds the portfolio of the Heritage, Technology, Innovation and Digital Action Committee. – April 28, 2026
