THE Unity Government Leadership Consultation Council between Umno and Pakatan Harapan today said it respects the stance taken by both political bureaus on issues in Negeri Sembilan.

In a joint statement, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail (PH secretary-general) and Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Bin Dusuki (Umno secretary-general) said the council reached a consensus to maintain the cooperation of the Unity Government in Negeri Sembilan for the stability of the state and the well-being of the people.

“The council also agreed to ensure that any decision by the Negeri Sembilan Government that could trigger any form of sensitivity and open up space for disagreement must be immediately referred to the council,” read the statement.
