NEGERI Sembilan Umno chief Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias has retained the Pertang state seat, according to unofficial results.

Jalaluddin secured 6,312 votes to defeat Pakatan Harapan’s Mohd Umry Abdul Khois, who polled 2,593 votes, while Bersatu’s Mohd Faizal Fadli Mohd Idrus received 367 votes.

Jalaluddin previously held the seat from 2013 to 2018 before winning it back in the 2023 state election. – August 1, 2026
