A 15-year-old girl died after she was found believed to have fallen from the ninth floor of an apartment in Presint 5, Putrajaya - September 13, 2026

A 15-YEAR-OLD girl died after she was found believed to have fallen from an apartment in Presint 5 here last night.

Putrajaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Aidi Sham Mohamed said police received a call about the incident at 10.33pm.

“Initial police investigations found that the 15-year-old girl was found lying down, believed to have fallen from a height.

“The victim lived with her family on the ninth floor of the apartment,” he said, adding, a medical officer from Putrajaya Hospital confirmed the victim’s death at the scene.

“An autopsy will be conducted today and the case has been classified as sudden death, while the cause of the incident is still under investigation,” he said. - September 13, 2026
