KUALA LUMPUR – A recent photo of Federal Territories Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa seen again violating movement control order (MCO) standard operating procedures (SOPs) has earned the ire of his fellow Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Mohd Puad Zarkashi this morning.
In a Facebook post today, Puad ticked off Annuar for continuing to give excuses instead of admitting to his wrongdoing following the latest incident.
This is the second time that Annuar, who is also Ketereh MP, has been captured purportedly flouting MCO SOPs.
“Annuar Musa is accused of violating SOPs during the MCO for eating at the same table as six others. The SOP only allows two people (per table),” Puad said in his post.
“Again, Annuar gave the reason that he only sat there for a while before rushing away because the organisers did not follow the SOPs.
“If you are already aware that they are not following SOPs, why still sit there, even for a while? Where is the logic?” Puad said.
He said Annuar had also given a similar excuse when the latter tweeted a picture showing him brisk-walking with two others not from the same household last month.
The SOPs for outdoor exercise at that time stipulated that a maximum of two people are allowed to go out jogging together, provided they are from the same household.
“Annuar struggled to find an excuse, claiming that all three came from different directions but bumped into each other unexpectedly.
“Always good at finding excuses. The question is, why did they continue to walk together?” Puad said.
The trio, he observed, were using walking sticks but failed to don face masks.
“There are always excuses. Please do not further tear Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) image, which is already torn so far,” he added.
