PETALING JAYA – The threshold odour number (TON) at the Sg Semenyih water treatment plant has returned to zero, and affected consumers may see their taps running by the end of the day.

In a statement today, Air Selangor said three tests done this morning at the Sg Semenyih plant showed a TON reading of zero and efforts to restore water supply will take up to 12 hours.

However, the TON levels at the Bukit Tampoi (2) and Sg Batang Benar (10) treatment plants have yet to register zero reading.

“The public can refer to the Air Selangor application, its Facebook and Instagram pages or website for information that will be updated from time to time,” it said. – The Vibes, October 6, 2020.
