KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia’s daily Covid-19 caseload has surpassed the 13,000 mark with another 13,944 infections today.

In a tweet this afternoon, Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said today’s new cases bring the country’s cumulative total to 2,939,198.

Of today’s cases, 9,929 (71.21%) infections are in Category 2 while 3,942 (28.27%) patients are in Category 1.

Meanwhile, 54 (0.39%) cases are in Category 3, and 11 in Category 4. The remaining eight cases are in Category 5.

He added that the number of new cases according to states will be shared by the ministry on the CovidNow portal. – The Vibes, February 8, 2022
