Covid-19 recoveries exceed new cases today

KUALA LUMPUR – The number of Covid-19 daily recoveries have exceeded new infections today, said the Health Ministry.

Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said a total of 996 recoveries were recorded while new transmissions were at 919.

This brings the total number of recoveries to 32,069, while the cumulative cases of infections stands at 43,791.

The ministry also recorded one death involving a non-citizen in Labuan today, bringing the death toll to 303.

Noor Hisham said 92 cases were currently being treated in intensive care units, while 35 cases required ventilators. – The Vibes, November 12, 2020
