Floods affect 12 roads in T’ganu
A total of 12 roads in Terengganu have been affected, some completely closed to traffic, by floods that hit the state starting at 8am this morning. – Bernama pic, December 18, 2022

KUALA TERENGGANU – A total of 12 roads in Terengganu were affected, some completely closed to traffic, by floods that hit the state starting at 8am this morning.

According to the Public Works Department’s disaster management official website, seven roads have been completely closed to all vehicles while five other roads have been closed to light vehicles.

The roads closed to all vehicles are Jalan Tepus-Kuala Jengal, Jalan Sg Tong-Pelong, Jalan Jertih/Pasir Akar-Keruak, Jalan Jabi/Oh/Pasir Akar, Jalan Jertih/Pasir Akar-Keruak, Jalan Permaisuri-Hulu Seladang and Jalan Cengal Besar/ Kuala Loh.

The roads still open to heavy vehicles only are Jalan Kemasik/Air Jernih/Ibok/Paman, Jalan Kertih-Batu Putih, Jalan Langkap/Pelong, Jalan Jerangau-Jabor and Jalan Chalok-Telaga Papan.

 Members of the public are advised to be vigilant and prioritise safety when travelling in the affected areas. – Bernama, December 18, 2022
