PETALING JAYA – Voting is about to close but it will still be a while before the full results are in.

While waiting, voters can take advantage of the various offers being advertised in conjunction with the state elections today.

All you have to do is show your inked fingers to enjoy a variety of discounts and free items.

Here is a compilation of some offers, especially for Malaysians who exercised their civic duty. However, read the attached terms and conditions as they vary according to brand.

At Burger King, your inked finger will get you a free medium-sized Coca-Cola.

If you prefer root beer, head over to A&W. A regular root beer is going for RM1 today, and the best part of the “A&W Belanja Semua” promotion is that it is not limited to those with inked fingers, but is open for everyone.

Want something colder? 7-Eleven’s 22oz Slurpee is only RM2 today if you show them your inked finger.

If fizzy drinks are not your thing, Chatime’s chocolate series drink (small) is only RM5 at their outlets in six states – Penang, Kedah, Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Kelantan and Terengganu. The offer is valid today and tomorrow.

Over at Nando’s, you can get a whole chicken worth RM63.90 for free by showing your inked finger, but the catch is you have to spend a minimum of RM100 first.

As for Me’nate steak house, they are offering a 15% discount on every item on the menu all day, today.
