KUALA LUMPUR – Some 38 organistions have signed up to operate the Fuiyoh hubs in the first six months of the year, each with an investment of RM250,000.

This offers opportunities under Fuiyoh Delivery (courier, express, and employment to a crew) as the hubs will act as pick-up and drop-off points for documents and parcels, which will then be dispatched to domestic and international destinations.

At the rollout on Tuesday, 12 entrepreneurs presented their deposits of interest to open up Fuiyoh Hub to Koperasi Perkhidmatan Pelajaran Nasional Bhd (Kopenas).

The total investment by these new business owners amounted to RM3 million.

Earlier, the 12 who signed up for Fuiyoh Hub in the first phase in July were presented with a subsidy aid of RM240,000 by Brogrammar Digital.

Fuiyoh is said to offer Malaysians a new virtual experience of harnessing augmented reality, virtual reality, and video, allowing users to interact in a digital world.

During the rollout, Brogrammer Digital Sdn Bhd – conceptualiser and proprietor of the Fuiyoh digital brand – said Malaysian small and medium enterprises should embrace digital technologies to include both the front- and back-end of business operations.

Brogrammer Digital has three initiatives – Fuiyoh Business, Fuiyoh Tourism, and Fuiyoh Metaverse.

The Fuiyoh Business ecosystem comprises Fuiyoh Delivery – which offers hub, courier, express, and crew opportunities – and Fuiyoh Market that covers products, food, and services.

On the other hand, Fuiyoh Tourism includes a myriad of ticketing, e-wallet, business, accommodation, information, transportation, and tour facilities.

Apart from holidaymakers, hotels, tourist guides, ticketers, transporters, and information counters are just some examples of who can capitalise on the prowess of this ecosystem. Even Airbnb homes, vacation rentals, kampung stays, beach houses, and unique homes and experiences around the country can tap into Fuiyoh Tourism.

Meanwhile, Fuiyoh Metaverse offers tourism sectors the opportunity to showcase Malaysian travel sites virtually.

On Tuesday, Kopenas signed a memorandum of collaboration with Gogopasar for Fuiyoh Marketplace and Fuiyoh Delivery.

Additionally, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Harimau Fresh and Kopenas for Fuiyoh Delivery.

Brogrammer Digital is eyeing more investors and partners to participate in the exciting ventures in Fuiyoh to adapt and collaborate as the economy recovers from the pandemic. – The Vibes, December 2, 2021
