THE Education Ministry has dismissed allegations of a leak in the History examination paper for the 2024 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and that the allegations are unfounded.

In a statement today, the MoE said a thorough investigation was conducted after the circulation of screenshots and posts online and it was found that the claims were unfounded.

"The ministry has found that the allegations are baseless. The circulated screenshots only featured a list of topics from the history textbook that were speculated as potential predictions.

"No questions from the History Paper 1 and 2 of the 2024 SPM examination were found in any of the spreads or screenshots that were shared," it said.

The MoE reassured all SPM candidates to remain calm and focused while continuing with their exams.

“The education ministry remains committed to upholding the confidentiality of public examination papers, and the interest of all 2024 SPM candidates is guaranteed,” it added. - January 9, 2025
