AMIDST the hustle and bustle of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang, a woman successfully gave birth in the waiting area, yesterday.

In a Facebook post, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad said the incident occurred when the passenger was waiting for her flight.

The Aviation Security (AVSEC) team and Customer Experience Management staff quickly assisted the woman and called the Health Ministry and Medilife Paramedic staff for help.

The baby was successfully delivered and was rushed to the Serdang Hospital with the mother.

MAHB later expressed their appreciation for the quick response and effort from AVSEC, Terminal Services Department, KKM, Medilife Paramedic, and others who helped.
