A SECOND suspect connected to the alleged suicide of social media influencer Esha has turned himself in to the police.

Known as “Dulai Brothers”, the man in his 40s was taken into custody after he presented himself at the Sentul police station yesterday evening.

Sentul police chief, Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari confirmed the arrest.

The suspect is expected to be remanded soon.

Yesterday, police obtained a remand extension for a female suspect also linked to the TikTok influencer’s death allegedly over cyberbullying.

Both suspects had allegedly harassed, threatened, and made derogatory statements about the influencer, whose real name was A. Rajeswary, causing her immense stress and public humiliation.

The case has drawn nationwide anger and caught the attention of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and parliament. – July 11, 2024.
