NETIZENS are outraged following a viral video of a woman appearing to knock the skullcap off an elderly man following a mishap on the North–South Expressway Central Link (Elite) highway recently.
Posted by user @update11111 on social media site X, the footage shows a blue Toyota Innova taxi having collided with a white Proton Saga, with both vehicles pulled over on the side of the road.
The woman was shown to have raised her hand and swiped the older man’s ‘kopiah’ off his head.
While the old man bent down to pick up the ‘kopiah’, the young woman was seen raising her hand again in the video.
The video sparked heated reactions online, with many criticising the woman's actions.
User mars questioned the need for aggression, saying, "This could have been settled at the police station by claiming the uncle's car insurance, so why resort to violence? The uncle was at fault but, hopefully, the woman who hit him also faces consequences for acting aggressively."
Some users suggested that the taxi driver take action against the young woman for her behaviour towards him. – February 11, 2025
