TWO Sabah assemblymen and a businessman will be charged with corruption tomorrow at the Special Corruption Court in Kota Kinabalu.
According to a notice issued by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Sabah, the trio will face four charges under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009.
Two of the charges will be under Section 16(b)(A) of the Act for allegedly offering bribes, while the other two will be under Section 16(a)(A) for allegedly receiving bribes.
The case is scheduled to be mentioned at 9:00am.
MACC had earlier confirmed that three individuals, including two elected representatives, were under investigation in connection with a graft scandal believed to involve a prospecting mining license in Sabah.
