POLICE have detained a 14-year-old boy for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl at a school in Sabak Bernam, Selangor on Oct 13.

Sabak Bernam district police chief Supt Md Yusoff Ahmad said the incident, involving a 15-year-old victim, allegedly took place during recess at about 9.30 am.

“The arrest was made on the same day (Oct 13) at Jalan Parit, Sungai Besar, and the suspect has been remanded for four days from Oct 14,” he said in a statement reported by Bernama.

The case is being investigated under section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017. - October 17, 2025
