NETIZENS praised PDRM for their patience and 'soft' approach in handling a situation involving a distressed woman who wanted to jump into Sungai Gombak in Kuala Lumpur.

In the Friends of PDRM Facebook, the incident reportedly occurred yesterday.

Despite hours of persuasion, the woman refused to say a word and only after being approached by a female policewoman, she agreed to be taken to Hospital KL for further treatment.

Police also found a psychiatric treatment record card in her bag.

According to the card, her last check-up was in September.

“Alhamdulillah, everything was handled well, and our responsibility was fulfilled,” they said. – December 29, 2025
