King drives over 45km to inspect environment in Mersing

HIS Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, personally drove more than 45km through several residential areas to observe environmental conditions in the district of Mersing on Saturday (March 7).

According to a post on the official Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar Facebook page, His Majesty also visited Tanjung Penyabong Jetty to personally inspect the level of cleanliness and the condition of facilities at the jetty.

Sultan Ibrahim emphasised that cleanliness and environmental maintenance must always be prioritised by local authorities, reported Bernama.

His Majesty noted that Mersing is among the popular tourist destinations in Johor, adding that maintaining cleanliness is essential to ensure the area remains attractive and comfortable for both residents and visitors.
